My microphone has stopped working on Snapchat and Instagram

My microphone has stopped working on snapchat and Instagram but when I use it on the camera roll it works fine. Any ideas?

Go to Settings>Privacy>Microphone and make sure that both of those apps have been given permission to use the microphone.
