Hi,

if you change the country for iCloud do you lose the data that is stored there? Specifically your photos?

Until recently I’ve been living in a country where I subscribed to iCloud and all my iOS backups and photos are stored there. But I’ve moved abroad permanently and need to change the country for the App Store and iCloud now. Hence why I need to know if I can just change the country + update payment method without losing the backups and photos currently on iCloud.

Thank you!

As far as I know, changing you country or region should have no effect on you photos. As far as backups, everything should basically remain except for updating the new country on your next backup.
