Can autoplay videos be triggered if paging in reverse?

I'm a newbie to Keynote...

I have a video set to autoplay when the slide is reached. Works well. But when I back up to it from the slide just after the video doesn't play. If I page again to the slide before the video, then go forward again, it will play.

Is there a way to set the video to play no matter which direction you come from?
