Updating apps

App Store refusing to let me update apps. Some apps were purchased using a different ID

How is it refusing exactly? What happens when you try to update them?


Normally, apps bought with a different Apple ID will require that ID and its password to update for ever. If you no longer remember it, then the only option is to delete those Apps, and buy/redownload them again with the Apple ID being used currently.


Outside of that, its not recommended to have more than one Apple ID, nor is it recommended to have apps from more than one ID on a single device.
