Macbook won’t charge

My macbook air won’t charge or turn on, its currently dead and i have it plugged in but it won’t charge

Troubleshooting Mac Startup or Power Up Problems

What to Do When Your Mac Won't Power Up At All


  • Is the charger working?
  • Is the MagSafe cord in good shape?
  • Have you cleaned the contacts on the MagSafe connecter?
  • The Battery may be dead.
  • There may be a problem on the motherboard.
