Changing App Store id

I was given this iPad as part of a work package, previously set up by someone else. I have created a new App Store ID and logged into it, but whenever I try to update an App it immediately defaults back to the previous log in for which I do not have the password. And no one can remember it either. I can log out and log in as many times as I like but it makes no difference. As a result I can’t update any of the Apps.... any ideas?

Delete the affected apps and reinstall them with your apple ID, this will link the apps to your apple ID.


When updating an app you need the password of the account it is linked to.
