How can I deactivate Mission Control when I scroll?

Hi, Whenever I am scrolling up or down a webpage Mission Control activates and I can see all of my windows. I do not want this. It's very frustrating when I'm doing a lot of work on my computer and I continue to get interrupted by this. How can I stop it?

Thank you in advance,

Denise
