so im locked out of my ipod and can not rember my apple ID that i set it up with. iv'e changed my pass words in icloud and it is still saying i've got to sign in with the pass word that i first set it up with. i have no proof that i brought as i my wife brought it for me about 3 years ago so apple can not help me. i've tried resetting to factory settings but when go back to setting it up it's still asking me to put in the first id i used when i first set it up.
You need that Apple ID. The activation lock is a theft deterrent system so there is no user work around

I can't remember my activation code. I've tried a factory reset but still no joy. So now I've got a iPod that I've had for about 2-3 years that I can't use. I've tried going in to iTunes but still doesn't work.
