Seagate backup plus slim SO SLOW

My seagate backup slim is unbelievably slow! It can copy a image pretty fast, however when you I tried to copy a folder of 2.7mb, IT DIDNT EVEN WORK! I've tried so much and it still is so slow. Yes, the fromat is mac os extended (journaled). PLEASE HELP.

I dont want to waste this. There is also nothing in the drive since I erased and reformatted it again and again!

This is all it does! And after like 10 minutes it says that it didn't work.

PLEASE HELP!
