My mother is in nursing care & on lockdown due to you-know-what. Apparently she tried too many times or incorrectly entered her passcode. She does not have access to any computer and I'm not sure we even set up iTunes. It looks like she'll need to reset the iPad. She's 85yo and we'll be doing this over the phone, so how do we do this? Please, just 1-2-3 instructions for me to walk her through it. Thank you.

I’m sorry to give you this news, but this must be done on a computer PC, or Mac running iTunes or on a Mac via the Finder if the Mac is running Catalina. There is no other way for her to unlock her phone
Can we just reset to factory and start over? If so, how?
Sorry, but to repeat information already stated by Demo - there is no alternative method. The iPad has to be connected to a Computer and reseting/restoring via iTunes or Finder.
Would you provide simple instructions using Finder, please? Maybe that's an option. Thank you.
