Bluetooth headset only works for calls, nothing else

I’ve been using a Jabra Bluetooth headset to listen to podcasts with no issues then it suddenly stopped working, after I used it for a phone call. The headset still shows as connected and I can still use it for phone calls now but not for other apps like Podcast, YouTube, etc. It doesn’t show up as an option under Control Center. The following haven’t solved the issue: updating to iOS 13.4.1, restarting the phone, resetting the network settings, and updating all the apps.
