FCP Library Size 350 GB

Because I've had so many storage issues in the past, I NEVER 'copy files to library', I only ever 'leave files in place' while editing. Help please :(

If you’re importing from a camera card you can’t leave in place. Also optimized and render files are very large. Use the Delete Generated Library Fillies to clear those out.
