Email contacts are in my phone contacts list

This is very time consuming:

1. Open a contact you want to delete
2. Scroll down to bottom
3. Click delete contact

The email additions come from your exchange account. There is a way to toggle these off, but the interfaces found on the web do not coincide with those on 365. You have to do this via Exchange., I have been searching for two days.
