Cannot delete music files in my device library in iTunes on my PC.

I downloaded music files from PC to my iPhone through iTunes. Now I cannot delete this through iTunes as iTunes didn't provide me with the delete option when I right click on the song. The delete button on my keynaord didn't work either. I ended deleting directly though my iPhone. However when I hook up my iPhone to iTunes through my PC, these files still show up in my device library. Anybody know why and how I can clean this up?

If you have used Sync to add the music to your phone, you can deselect the song in your iTunes Library in order to remove it fro the phone.

The Sync process will simply add the song back to your phone at each sync, because that's what it's supposed to do. Sync, short for synchronisation, means to make the same and that's all iTunes is trying to do.
