How to wipe the hard drive of Mac G5 OS 10.5.

The pre-2006 Macs this forum covers do not have recovery partitions. I recommend you start a new thread in the forum section that best matches your Mac model. Tagging on to an old thread that's been inactive for a month seldom gets good advice here. Plus the Macs in this forum section are so old that hardly anyone checks for new activity here. T'is a lonely place here.

You will need to startup with your Mac’s recover disc and use Disk Utility to erase your Mac’s hard disk.

I want to wipe my hard drive to trash it. how do i get to the recover disc?
