The offer is for those who purchase a new qualifying device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, Apple TV) from Apple or an authorized reseller. Refurbished or open box items from other sells would not count. Those who previously subscribed would not qualify.
Once a qualifying device has been purchased the user would set it up (within the TV app) and need to claim the offer within 3 months.
