when I want to update or download apps in AppStore, it requires the Apple ID password but when I enter the password of the updated Apple ID it brings an option to say “ continue to sign in with the (old Apple ID) and when I press not now it stops updating my apps. So what is the problem exactly?
If you purchased/downloaded an app using a former Apple ID, then you can't update it with your current Apple ID. The app is inextricably linked to the first ID and, thus, can't be transferred. You'll have to delete it and repurchase/download it again with your current Apple ID.

You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
