iPhone 6S Model MN112B/A s/ware V 13.5
Contacts are listed first name first alphabetically. Despite setting to last name first, editing to last name first or adding new contact they always revert after a few seconds to first nam first. Incidentally I have the same problem on my iPad 6 s/ware V 13.4.1.
Contacts default account is my Yahoo account not iCloud. Suggestions please
Thanks Sranan. I have both Display and Sort Orders set at last name first. I have tried deleting contacts and then re listing with last name first but after a couple of minutes or re-loading Contacts App the contacts revert to being displayed first name first. BTW this issue started 2 weeks ago.
Settings > Contacts >
You have two options here Sort Order, Display Order; choose what you want.
