I currently use a 2015 MacBook Pro15". I use it mainly for amateur photography and website development
I'm thinking of upgrading to a new MacBook Pro.
I see that there is no SD card reader slot in new machine.
This may be a silly question, but how do I get my pictures from SD card onto MacBook Pro 16".
Also will all my external passport hard-drive storage things still be able to be used?

the external storage devices should work just normal. You would just need an USB Adapter form USB-A to USB-C.

So what you're telling me is that i've just spent nearly 4 grand on a laptop and now I have to go trawling the internet to buy loads of bits of crap that I have to plug into it so i can adapt the completely pointless ports you've supplied to fit my memory cards, wacom tablet, usb sticks and camera cables, you really have excelled yourselves again haven't you. morons!
