Catalina 10.15.5 Battery Management on Retina 12-inch, 2017 MacBook

I read that some people with MacBooks without Thunderbolt 3 ports

were also able to activate the new battery health management feature

after a SMC reset followed by disabling PowerNap and re-enabling it again.

Was someone successful with a MacBook Air 256GB (13-inch, June 2017MQD42B/A1466)?

Battery Health Management is only available for MacBooks with Thunderbolt 3 ports, which means only the 2016 MacBook Pro and 2018 MacBook Air and later have that option.
