There’s no hardware upgrade for iPhone and iPad, only replacement with a new or new-to-you model. There’s a discussion of how to reduce usage included in the article on How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support and this can involve deleting contents, and relocating contents to iCloud or elsewhere. There are iCloud storage upgrades available up to two terabytes: Buy more iCloud storage - Apple Support — this won’t help with increasing your iPhone or iPad storage, but can provide a place to move some of the existing contents onto.
