Apple ID Activation Lock

I bought some phones online that are linked to someone's Apple ID. I have tried different softwares but none of them works. I contacted Apple they will not unlock it unless I prove that it's my account. Anyone has this problem?

Thank you. I figured that would be the case. I understand that Apple came out with this protocol but it’s frustrating. I have tried to return the phones and the company has been giving me problems. I may have to swap out the logic board.

Hi Shema,

As you already know, the iPhones have an Activation Lock on them. They can only be unlocked by the Apple ID that they are registered to. Apple will not be able help unless you can prove that they are yours and purchased either directly from Apple or an Authorized retailer. If you purchased them from an unauthorized third party then it will not work. This is part of Apple's security protocol.

Shema, if you can find a way to return those iPhones and get your money back then do that because there is a great chance that you will end up with non-working iPhones.
