update for photos

I need to know what photo editing program to use with the MAC os update . Both my aperture and iPhoto is not compatible. What steps do I take?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

iPhoto and Aperture has been replaced with Photos. Launch Photos with the Option key held down and in the Open Library window select your Aperture library. It will be migrated to a new Photos library.
