Hi I have a macbook air 2015 and it has OS X El Capitan and I want to update it to the a more recent macos how do i do it?

OS update My 2014 macbook air is currently on El Capitan. To get up-to-date, can I jump over all other updates or do I need to do each one; Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave...?
