Missing keyboard in screenshots and screen recording

I just ran into this weird issue where my keyboard was no longer showing up in screen recording and screenshots. Is there a way to turn this off ??? As someone who has to QA apps to make sure things interact with native elements correctly its really hard to show my team when my keyboard is completely missing.

Hi there, kosmonatik,

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. I noticed your post regarding the visibility of the keyboard in screenshots and screen recordings hasn't gotten an answer just yet. More information about what's happening may help others in the community get you to a solution. Try answering the following questions:

  1. Does this happen with all apps, including the built-in iOS apps (like Messages or Mail)?
  2. Are the apps you are testing already released or still in development?
  3. What is the model and current iOS version on your iPhone? Example: iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13.5.5. You can get this information under Settings > General > About.

Cheers!
