Apple does NOT repair customer iPads.

If you contact Apple and they do a remote diagnostic of your iPad and determine you need a a battery replacement, in lieu of an actual battery replacement, Apple will charge you the normal $99 battery replacement fee for a complete replacement iPad of your same year and model with new battery already installed.
