Camera on MacBook Pro not working

I updated my OS to 10.15.5 and now my camera doesn't work for PhotoBooth, Zoom and all meeting - and Facetime etc ...... yhe green camera light comes on for a minuite then goes off . I have no problems with iPad or iPhone Tried rebooting a number of times and all the usual culprits - even Disk Utility First Aid - and Apple Help Desk ... nothing seems to work? Help Desk told me to take in for repair when Apple Store opens again ..... Anyone else found a work around ? It's OS related, not hardware

MacBook Pro 13”, macOS 10.15

Reinstalling the Microphone:

Is there a camera even seen? If not, you may need to go about reinstalling the macOS. If you removed the plugin somehow, then reinstalling it would be your only option.

Revealing the Microphone’s Connection:

Use this Link: Get System Information for your Mac - Apple Support

First off, see if the camera is even seen:

  1. Hold Down: the Option key
  2. Click: the Apple menu
  3. Choose: System Information or System Report
  4. Select: Camera from the list on the left
  5. Look For: any internal or external camera:
