Possible scam

I keep getting calls from 800-439-**** stating my account has been hacked and to not use any financial services until I talk to Apple Support . When you select 1 you get a foreign speaking person which seems like a scam. Is this a scam.

Yes, it is a scam.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
