Unable to edit videos on macOS Catalina

whenever I try to edit a video in the photos app all edit options are greyed out

anyone else having this problem?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

There are no edit options for videos in Photos for Mac. You can only trim the video or set a poster Frame.

Currently the Photos.app on an iPhone or iPad has more edit options than Photos for Mac. I hope, this will change soon.

It is not the first time this happened. 😀. Currently the nice new tools are coming first to the iPhone and iPad.

We had to wait a bit for the edit tools for the Portrait Mod photos, and I am still waiting for the perspective correction tools to come to Photos for Mac.
