Wonky type in Safari on an old MacBook Pro 17"

Type/font in Safari on an old MacBook Pro 17' sometimes overlaps and sometimes has too much space between letters. Any idea how to fix this?

Try going to applications > font book and doing file > restore standard fonts and then restarting.
