Hi, I have bought an Iphone from a guy who I met during my vacancy in another city. After getting back to home, I tried to switch to that Iphone which I bought recently, but I couldn't even after phone restore.
So keeping in mind that I didn't know this issue before buying this used phone, what do you offer apple, I bought an Iphone to eventually throw away?
Is it possible to reset because cannot reach the guy who sold it ?
Neither we (just users like you) nor Apple can help you, sorry, unless you are the original owner and you still have the proof of purchase (receipt/invoice).
Shouldn’t be this case, activation lock can be removed only by the previous owner, with the credentials that were used to activate that iPhone. Without those credentials, that device is useless to you.
