Pages document has deleted half of my content?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone could help,

My partner has been working on Pages for the past 2 months or so (working on the same file/document just adding multiple pages and saving as he goes along) However, when he opened up the same file this morning, its strangely lost 85-90 pages of the document!

The pages app tells us the last time it was 'opened' was 31st May, However, it is now the 17th June and the last time he worked on the file AND saved it was the 15th June.

Any help at all? Sorry if it seems a bit vague, its a very strange situation!

Document saved in different locations, so there are two different versions with and without those missing pages? If you have Spotlight indexing enabled for your startup drive, and in System Preferences : Spotlight : Search Results : [√] Documents selected, then click the magnifying glass icon in your menu bar, and enter the following:

kind:pages created:>05/01/2020

This will show all Pages documents created since May 1st — provided they are on the startup drive.

If that does not clear up where the missing content went, then open the Pages document with the missing content. Then, File menu : Revert To : Browse all versions… Restore the Pages document that shows the missing pages.

And there is also restoring the complete Pages document from a Time Machine backup by running /Applications/Time Machine.
