Verification failed

Been trying to download some apps, it tells me if I want to sign in on my existing account. So I login with my existing account, hit sign in and then it takes me another screen to login. Then it tells me verification failed, your Apple ID or password is incorrect.

When I hot forgot password and try to reset my password, it tells me to use the password that unlocks my phone. So I do, and it does not take it, it eventually gives me “too many failed attempts.”

Help me!!

If you are locked out of your Apple ID account you can go to https://iforgot.apple.com

This will provide you with the recovery steps you put in place for this situation.
