Two ipads

I have an old iPad and I purchased a new one. Both are connected to same account. I would like to give my old iPad to my grandson. How to I clear anything off the old one to give to him and keep my information on this one,

When the iPad is set-up by the new owner, they should use their own AppleID. AppleIDs should not be shared between users.
