Battery is not charging

Why the battery of my Macbook Air is not charging? The battery life is only 90.

you can try and reset the SMC circuit on your Mac you can see how to do it here --> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

or you take it to apple

on the other hand if you get the "battery is not charging" message when you click the battery its the battery management thing that apple added in the last software update

you can click the battery on the top bar and click open energy saver or go to energy saver using system preferences

then click battery health at the bottom of the window and turn it off or you can leave it if you always keep your Mac plugged in it makes your battery last longer by discharging and charging(not to full) it automatically depends on how long you leave it plugged

if you don't keep it plugged in you should turn it off as this will give you more battery life you can learn more here -->https://support.apple.com/en-il/HT211094
