Using the same apple ID, but different app store country

Hi,

I'm contemplating whether I should set up a new Apple ID or use my existing one for my new phone. One of my phones is set to one country(NL), which I still use for specific access to apps of that country. My new phone needs to have access to the app store of a different country(UK).

Since the region of my Apple ID is set to one country(NL), how would that work? or does that even work?

Thanks!

If you use your current ID, you would have to change your store region to get to the UK store. You can change regions every 90 days if that would be acceptable to you. If you use a new ID, you will lose access to your data from the old ID. You could share purchases between the IDs if you set up Family Sharing.

Region - Change your iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store country or region.

Family Sharing.

I am not sure if that would work. But, I am having trouble seeing why it would not work. You could ask Apple Support. See:
