Apple TV to Mac

can we connect Apple TV with MacBook Air 2020 instead of connecting Apple TV device to a normal tv. Basically what I am saying is that I don’t have a tv, so can I stream all Apple TV apps in my Mac ?

Apple TV is designed for connecting with a TV, it will only be connected to a Mac for restore. There would be no reason to use it in that fashion anyway since that content can be accessed directly on a Mac.
