I recently upgraded my 7 plus iPhone and when setting up my new phone my pictures weren't saved. is there anyway for me to retrieve my pictures from this phone? Plus my old phone is broke and I cant access any information.

Your photos would have been saved wherever you backed them up while the iPhone 7+ was functioning. If you backed them up somewhere, retrieve them from there. If not, they’re gone.
