Specks of screen staining on MacBook Air 2020?

Hi.

I bought the brand new MacBook Air 2020, just under 1 week ago and I am beginning to notice already scratch looking marks on the screen that I am fearful will turn into a situation like with the Retina Staining issue that has affected other MacBooks.

I can be very sure that I haven't scratched the screen as I have made sure to be excessively gentle and careful with the device and have particularly made sure I haven't made any contact with the screen whatsoever.

Very disappointed with coming from a £600 Windows laptop with an astonishingly durable screen and spending £1500 + on an Apple Mac, only to find that the screen is already proving problematic a mere 1 week into owning it.

Wondering whether mine is just a defect and I can have the screen replaced before the problems get worse?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
