Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which MacBook Pro model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, or Catalina.

Please use up to date Mac OS for updating your I phone otherwise use the software update option from the phone itself. Go to settings - General - Software update.


When you use older Mac OS devise to update the software update may end up in corrupted software and you will reach to recovery mode and I runes won't connect to IOS server. Don't take unnecessary risks with your daily using devices.
