Contacts disappear from iPhone and iCloud

contacts disappear from iCloud and iPhone. Lost forever.

I have resetting but no help.

If you are syncing to iCloud if you delete a contact from and device that share the Apple ID it will be removed from all devices.

You may also not be viewing all contact groups in the Contacts app. Open the app and tap on Groups in the upper left corner (if it is there) and make sure all groups are checked.

Also, if you are syncing contacts from email accounts such as gmail, aol, yahoo, etc if a contact is deleted in any account it will also be deleted from the phone.
