I have a MAC Book Pro 13 in with OS X Version 10.9.5. How can I update to to a later OS version so that I can use the latest Google?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which MacBook Pro model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, or Catalina.
