About tertiary discount

Hi I got my Ipad a few weeks ago as I didn't know about the student discount.

If I claim it now, is it possible to refund the difference?

I am not sure if Apple will allow you to claim back the student discount if you've already purchased the iPad but it can't hurt to ask.
