If you install the current Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, does the PDF display properly?

Apple's Preview is not keeping pace with changes to the evolving PDF standard, and there is PDF content that it does not handle well, or at all. Adobe, on the other hand, can and does ensure that its referenced PDF reader is current with the PDF specification.
