I can't update my new apple watch because my latest IOS version is 12.48 and I need IOS 13

I can't pair my apple watch that I just got. I updated the latest version on my IPhone 6 which is 12.4..8 and it states it still can't pair. Help!

My Apple Watch 3 will not pair with my iPhone 6 plus. When I try to pair my Apple Watch 3 with my iPhone 6 plus, it says that my "iPhone Out of Date and must be updated to the latest version of iOS." When I click on Update now, my phone says that there are no updates available. It is currently running iOS 12.4.4 When I tried to pair them manually, I got a code to start the pairing but then I received the same out of date message so they unpaired. Is there any way to get this to work? Thanks for your help!

Trouble with pairing new apple watch Bought a series 8 Apple Watch and I can’t pair it with my iPhone 13, iOS version 16.1.2. The message that I get is that I need a newer iOS version, but my iPhone has the latest iOS. How can I pair them?

If the watch has watchOS6 then you need a phone with ios13 or higher which is an iphone 6s or higher.
