iTunes can rip audio CDs. It doesn't recognize MP3 CDs for automatic rip or import purposes. Copy the tracks from the CD to a folder on your computer, select them and right-click to open properties, remove the Read-Only flag and apply, then move the tracks into <Media Folder>/Automatically Add to iTunes to absorb them into your library.
