I accidentally deleted my email inbox folder and consequently lost some important emails which I would like to restore to my phone 8. I think they are backed up and stored on iCloud but I'm not sure if they are.
I noticed a solution which involved deleting everything and then restoring from iCloud but thought that would mean losing all email folders when the missing one is the inbox.
Did you check the Trash folder for the folders or emails?

Did you also deleted the emails from the Trash folder as well? If you did, then they are gone, there's no restoring.
My phone was showing two inboxes so I decided to delete one but this resulted in both disappearing.
