you could look into iCloud Photos. If the majority of your storage is photos (check by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage) then you'd likely need to pay for more iCloud storage. (it's pretty cheap). There is an option where you can reduce the amount of storage that your photos take on your phone

Alternatively you could back your photos up on a computer and then remove them from your phone (assuming you want to keep your photos!)

suggest you go ask google or look at their support site or FAQ, so that way you can find all of your answers on how their app works.

You can't add to the storage capacity of an iPhone.

Delete things to free some up.

There is no adding more storage. You need to delete data off your phone to gain back memory.

You cannot do that. The physical storage space that came when you bought the iPhone will remain the same forever. You are not going to be able to change that.

As far as the iCloud Photos goes though, you cannot delete them from your device because iCloud is a syncing service, not really a backup service..

Google Photos works exactly the way you mentioned in your post. Google Photos will back up all your Photos and save them while you can delete them on your iPhone. Just like you said.

Log in to https://photos.google.com using your Google ID. You can also view them in the Google Photos app on your phone.
