Creating family sharing account

Trying to set up family sharing with my new iPad Air and an old iPad Pro that I gave to my daughter. When I try to set up my family sharing account it says that I am currently apart of a family group and I would have to leave my current family group in order to set up another one? I removed my daughters iPad from the account and it still doesn’t give me the option to set up family sharing. Please help!!!

Did you wipe the old iPad Pro down before you gave it to your daughter?

If not, do it first => What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Were you the family organiser.

FYI, there is no such thing as Family Sharing account.

If you are/were the organiser, you used your Apple ID to set Family Sharing,
