Why do I see the microphone on iMac screen when I don't have voice command enabled? (I have toggled it off/on several time to remove it) What am I have overlooked? Problem develop last couple of weeks when the mic symbol just appeared. It working as it should but I am not wanting and don't know how to get rid of it. I have 2014 iMac/ 5K/ 4 gHz /Catalina 10.15.6 /32 gig ram.

It is disabled in preference but still abled in system. Hmm,
What, exactly, are you seeing?
Can you post a screenshot?
It should disappear if System Preferences > Accessibility > Voice Control "Enable Voice Control" is disabled.
It is in the lower left corner but can be moved any where on screen
